General Electric radios from the 1980s usually have excellent reception and sound quality on AM, and this little portable radio is no exception. In fact, it seems to perform almost as well as a GE Superadio, despite being a much smaller size. Plus, it is still playing fine on a set of batteries that are over 10 years old!
